We will hand clean the surface of your glass with a mop and squeegee (or a water-fed brush) and dry-brush your screens. We will also wipe down your window sills with a towel or sponge. Unless otherwise specified, these items are included in the price we quote you for your service. However, a detailed cleaning of the window tracks and frames is not included, as the tools and soap we use are intended for cleaning glass and may not be enough to remove all of the debris present on your sills and in your tracks. For an additional charge we can wash your screens with water. We also provide post-construction cleanup services and storm window cleaning. Please refer to your estimate for details and let our office know if you require these additional services so that we can quote you appropriately.
Unfortunately, window cleaning will not help clear the fog in your windows. Windows that have fogged are usually double-paned, thermal windows with a broken seal. When that happens, the gas leaks out and moisture leaks in, causing the space in between the panes to fog. Replacement is usually the only fix for a foggy window, but be sure to check with the installer or manufacturer about any warranties that may apply.
